La Sapienza – University of Rome Regains its Prestige as a Global Pioneer in Classical and Ancient History Research

The most recent edition of the QS World University Rankings by Subject has been unveiled, offering a comprehensive assessment of more than 1,500 universities spanning 96 countries and across 55 academic disciplines. La Sapienza – University of Rome continues to demonstrate its prominence in the fields of classical studies and ancient history. Furthermore, another university in Rome has firmly established itself among the World Top 20 and serves as the national leader in the realms of political and international studies, simultaneously garnering acknowledgment in the global top 50 for Marketing. With 56 universities represented in the QS ranking, Italy now boasts a total of 577 subject rankings, positioning it seventh globally in terms of entries and eighth in university representation. Within the European Union, Italy stands second in terms of placements within the world’s top ten subjects. Overall, Italy’s university system ranks ninth globally, featuring eight subjects within the top 10.
