FENG SHUI is a philosophy of harmony to have a proportionate and emotionally balancing home, whether it’s small or large! There are only a few guidelines to follow, but they are all very interesting! Here are some rules:
ORDER, which means getting rid of the superfluous because the accumulation of objects hinders the flow of positive energy.
CHOOSE THE RIGHT COLOR FOR EACH ENVIRONMENT
In the living room, colors like red or orange facilitate family or friendly conversations. Blue and green in the bedrooms promote relaxation and restful sleep, while pink stimulates romance and passion. Yellow in the kitchen stimulates the appetite and provides energy right from the start of the day, starting with breakfast.
PLACE THE RELAXATION AREAS PROPERLY: SOFA AND BED
In the living room, the sofa should be positioned so that it faces the entrance door. The bed, to create a situation of greater relaxation and tranquility, should be placed so that it is not directly in front of the door.
MIRRORS
Avoid mirrors in the sleeping area or hide them in wardrobe doors because they can obstruct the flow of positive energy and slow down the process of falling asleep.
WINDOWS
Opt for large windows to make the most of natural light for illumination.
KITCHEN
The kitchen should be a welcoming and orderly place, with the door preferably away from the person cooking to create tranquility while working with the stove.
MATERIALS
Wood, stone, and metal are preferred to promote the flow of natural materials. Avoid plastic as much as possible.
